Job Description

A growing MEP engineering firm in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in HVAC and Plumbing design. This is a contract-to-direct position with exposure to commercial, government, healthcare, industrial, and defense projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop HVAC and plumbing systems for diverse building projects.
  • Perform load calculations, schematic design, and project management.
  • Utilize Revit and AutoCAD for system layouts and coordination.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and client engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct occasional site visits (<10% travel) to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering.
  • EIT required, PE preferred (or willingness to obtain PE).
  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC and plumbing system design.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
Job Details:
  • Location: Baltimore, MD (on-site).
  • Pay Rate: $40.86-$58.22/hr (Contract-to-Direct) | $85K-$115K (Direct Hire).
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.
  • Work from Home: Limited flexibility for personal matters.
  • Travel: Less than 10%.
  • Background Check & 10-Panel Drug Screen Required.
