Job Description
A Mechanical Engineer responsible for concept creation, electronic packaging, thermal design and analysis of cooling solutions, structural analysis, and design for manufacturability and serviceability.
Required:
Required:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master's Degree is a plus.
- Good work ethic.
- 2-5 years of design experience.
- Continuously looking for details to create a quality product.
- Ability to be flexible with changing project schedules.
- Good verbal and written communication with the ability to work within a team environment.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD.
- Experience with FEA and CFD is a plus.
- Experience with PTC Creo and Windchill is a plus.
- Experience with sheet metal and extrusion fabrication processes is a plus.
- Mechanical Design and documentation using PTC Creo & Windchill.
- BOM creation and management of BOM changes.
- Collaborate with other engineers (Electrical, Optical, Systems, Software, Industrial) for new product designs.
- Collaborate with other departments (Program Managers, Manufacturing Engineering, and Executive Staff) to improve manufacturing process and deliver cutting-edge products according to accelerated schedules.
- Manufacturing support & sustaining engineering.
