Our client has an immediate need for a mechanical drafter/designer work closely with engineers to create parts and assembly drawings for the manufacturing of compressor packages. The position requires proficiency with SolidWorks. Drafting and design work will include compressor package piping, components, controls and wiring. Prior experience with BOM’s is ideal as well as being familiar with weld symbols.

Job Description
Our client has an immediate need for a mechanical drafter/designer work closely with engineers to create parts and assembly drawings for the manufacturing of compressor packages. The position requires proficiency with SolidWorks. Drafting and design work will include compressor package piping, components, controls and wiring. Prior experience with BOM’s is ideal as well as being familiar with weld symbols.
Required:
- 3 Plus years Mechanical drafter/detailer experience in related field. Experience should be with large assemblies.
- Solidworks Proficiency
Preferred:
- Certifications: CSWE/CSWA
- Weld Symbols/Standards knowledge
- Experience with SolidWorks Enterprise PDM
- Familiar with Piping Codes (ASME B31.5)
Pay: $24.00-$28.00
