Mechanical Designer (Inventor / AutoCAD)
Location: Louisville, KY
Type: Full-Time | Onsite

We have an opening for a Mechanical Designer with hands-on experience designing parts, assemblies, and equipment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of projects involving sheet metal, weld assemblies, and fabrication.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical parts, assemblies, and complete equipment systems using Inventor and AutoCAD.
  • Interpret existing drawings and release updated or new prints for production on a daily basis.
  • Create detailed installation drawings and support fabrication efforts on the manufacturing floor.
  • Design and revise metal products and structural weldments such as frames, silos, steel weld structures, air cylinders, and conveyors.
  • Accurately measure individual components and full assemblies.
  • Modify and maintain existing drawings; verify dimensions and material specifications.
  • Specify and locate mechanical components including bearings, air cylinders, and hardware.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical design.
  • Proficiency with Inventor and AutoCAD.
  • Experience with sheet metal and fabrication processes.
  • Understanding of weld assemblies and mechanical components.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) preferred, but experienced Designers are encouraged to apply.
