Are you seeking a new role in the drafting field? Selectek is partnering with a company near Dallas, Texas to hire a Mechanical Designer. This company specializes in HVAC systems for large-scale projects, so candidates will need a strong mechanical design background
Employment Type: Temp to Perm
Expected Pay Range: $24-$27 per hour, depending on experience
Location: northern Dallas, Texas
Job Duties: Candidates will be designing DX split system layouts and performing HVAC/ductwork design. Knowledge of heat loss/gain calculations will also be critical for success. Exhaust system design for multifamily and commercial buildings may also be part of this role.
Job Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience minimum in the design field
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, specifically HVAC-related
- Ability to calculate heat loss/gain
- Knowledge of exhaust system design
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00a-5:00p
