Job Description
We have a client looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer that has a background working on industrial equipment design and detailing.
Roles and Responsibilities:

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the Engineering Manager on job requirements, activities, and schedules with the assignment of each job
- Work closely with the project managers and other engineering departments, using Autodesk AutoCAD 2D and Inventor 2D and 3D files and rough sketches to create details and layout drawings per instructions and concepts
- Create multi-view detailed drawings, models, and assemblies for equipment general arrangements, field erection drawings, and shop fabrication drawings using mechanical expertise, calculations, previous project files, or other direction from Product leaders
- Work closely with project managers and the engineering team to execute the client’s needs and expectations, in a timely manner and on budget
- Effectively communicate relevant project information to team leaders in other engineering disciplines, i.e., structural, electrical and process
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
- Help create and maintain CAD standards
- Perform any other duties as may be required, from time to time, by the Engineering
- Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering or Engineering Technology
- 3 plus years of mechanical design / modeling of industrial equipment
- Strong 2D and 3D modeling skills required
- Inventor Experience
