Job Description


We are currently working with a client to find a Mechanical Design Engineer responsible for designing and detailing industrial air pollution control systems according to specifications and within the designated time frames assigned.

Pay: $38-$48/hr
Direct-Hire

Job Responsibilities:
  • Solid modeling and design, using SolidWorks, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Production of complete solid model designs, and drawings that meet documented hardware requirements
  • Complete changes to drawings, documentation, and work instructions through ECOs process
  • Performance of product/process analyses for cost reduction, and quality and efficiency improvements.
  • The design, manufacture and testing of special tools, fixtures, etc. for use in various stages of the production process

Required:
  • AutoCAD proficiency
  • Solidworks proficiency
  • 5-10 years' experience in capital equipment design, preferably for industrial HVAC/air pollution control equipment
  • Knowledge of piping, combustion systems, refractory, thermal insulation and air pollution control systems is a plus.
