Project Engineer / Project Manager

Location: Alpharetta, GA
Industry: Engineering / Fabrication / Manufacturing

We’re excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer or Project  Manager who thrives on turning customer specifications into flawlessly executed fabrication projects. This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining quality standards and bridging the gap between design and manufacturing.

As the main liaison between the engineering team and our fabrication partners, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that engineering drawings are accurate, compliant, and manufacturable — and you’ll be the go-to problem solver for real-time design adjustments.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor project timelines and oversee the full manufacturing and production process
  • Interface directly with fabrication teams to ensure schedules and milestones are achieved
  • Edit and review manufacturing drawings based on engineer-developed 3D models
  • Collaborate with engineers to process manufacturing drawings and Bills of Materials
  • Organize and prepare packing lists for outgoing shipments
  • Uphold company manufacturing standards and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Maintain project budgets while adhering to industry best practices
  • Lead manufacturing meetings and site visits for inspections, testing, and equipment evaluation

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience releasing engineering drawings to a fabrication team
  • Strong project engineering and management expertise
  • Proficient in 3D CAD software (Inventor highly preferred)
  • Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
