(Greencastle, PA - Hagerstown, MD area)
We are partnered with a very busy and growing engineering consulting company that has an immediate need for a Manufacturing Engineer working in the Greencastle Pennsylvania / Hagerstown Maryland area.
The Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities Include:
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Pay Rate: Open, depending on education and experience
(Greencastle, PA - Hagerstown, MD area)
We are partnered with a very busy and growing engineering consulting company that has an immediate need for a Manufacturing Engineer working in the Greencastle Pennsylvania / Hagerstown Maryland area.
The Manufacturing Engineer Responsibilities Include:
- Overall, responsible for manufacturing process engineering, process improvements, and optimizing manufacturing processes
- Evaluate, analyze, and develop manufacturing methods, layouts, and process performance to eliminate waste, improve quality, lower costs, decrease production times, and maintain ISO compliance
- Create and develop manufacturing process routing and layouts, procedures, instructions, Bill Of Materials, and other documentation
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- Prefer a B.S. Degree in Engineering, Science, or Technology or equivalent education and work experience
- Some knowledge and work experience with manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly methods, materials, and processes
- 1+ years of manufacturing process engineering, process improvements, and manufacturing process optimization experience
Pay Rate: Open, depending on education and experience

John is originally from the Tidewater Virginia area and moved to Georgia for college where he majored in Electronics Engineering Technology. For fifteen years, he worked in television news broadcast engineering where he worked his way into technical project management until a layoff. After a few years operating a small business franchise, he found his way into an engineering and technical recruiting career where he could apply his technical and customer service backgrounds in a new industry for the next fifteen plus years to present day. His education and work experience as a technical project manager provides him unique insight into a variety of roles and success in finding great candidates for his clients. His career in technology, technical management, and technical staffing spans 25+ years.
When John found himself looking for a new opportunity, his search led to him joining the Selectek team in June 2021.
John lives in North Metro Atlanta where he spends his time with his wife and daughter. They enjoy kayaking on area lakes, hiking, bicycling, and all things pets and animals.
