Location: Opelika, AL
Full-time/first shift

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead day-to-day maintenance operations and ensure smooth production. This person will manage a team of technicians, reduce downtime, and help improve overall equipment reliability.

What You’ll Be Doing
Team Leadership
  • Oversee daily maintenance activities and respond quickly to equipment issues
  • Lead and develop a team of 10 to 20 technicians
  • Assign work orders and ensure tasks are completed on time
  • Maintain safety and compliance with OSHA and USDA standards
Maintenance & Operations
  • Manage preventive maintenance schedules across equipment and systems
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime
  • Monitor spare parts and inventory
Projects & Performance
  • Support and lead improvement projects to increase efficiency
  • Track key metrics like downtime, costs, and completion rates
  • Help manage maintenance budgets
Collaboration
  • Work closely with production teams to keep operations running smoothly
  • Communicate priorities, updates, and issues clearly
Requirements
  • 3 to 6 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Hands-on knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and refrigeration systems
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
  • Familiarity with OSHA and USDA regulations
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills
