Job Description

Machinist responsible for using furnished tools, such as mill and job document packages.  Responsible for producing quality workmanship, which meets or exceeds company standards.

This is a Direct Hire position.

Required:
  • To fill the role of manual machinist in all machining processes.
  • The ability to set-up and run projects within quality and efficiency expectations on all machining equipment.
  • Considerable knowledge to perform routine and preventative maintenance and upkeep of equipment and the instruments used.
  • Ability to visually inspect parts to company standards.
  • Ability to read, understand, and explain blueprints.
  • Assemble and debug machine projects as needed.
  • Possess good math skills, ability to read calipers, micrometers, and associated measuring equipment.
  • Basic computer and writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and be able to multi-task.
  • Physically be able to lift up to 50 lbs. safely or with assistance.  Capability of standing and bending over for long periods of time while performing manual labor with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to work full time hours.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Have a positive attitude and able to work within a team structure. Conscientious attention to detail and accuracy while able to multi-task and trouble shoot.  Possess the willingness and ability to effectively train fellow machinist of lesser ability.
Responsibilities:
  • Work safely and ensure hazardous conditions are eliminated. Follow company safety procedures.
  • Follow all company policies as outlined in the handbook and other company documents.
  • Ensure high quality standards are met with every project.
  • Ensure output meets or exceeds the requirements including deadlines.
  • Ensure quality system and safety procedures are followed.
  • Ensure all tools are in good working condition and alert the appropriate parties if they are not.
  • Set-up and run all mill and other machine jobs as trained.
  • Work independently and multi-task.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on a schedule kept by you.
  • Ensure departmental communication is accurate and effective.
  • Arrive to work in a punctual manner and be willing to work overtime as needed.
  • Maintain a neat and clean work area.
Pay Range: $22/hr. - $30/hr.

Location: Verona, WI 53593

Hours: M-F: 8:00AM – 5:00PM
