Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Survey Department: Take charge of managing and growing our survey department, overseeing survey crews, and ensuring the successful execution of projects.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D: Harness your expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D software to produce accurate and detailed survey deliverables that meet and exceed client expectations.
- Surveying Expertise: Measure and record precise distances and angles on various terrains, utilizing modern surveying equipment and computer-aided drafting programs.
- Boundary Resolution: Investigate and resolve boundary discrepancies by researching historical maps, land records, and collaborating with other professionals to ensure accuracy.
- Project Collaboration: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction personnel to verify and synchronize survey data during land development projects.
- Map Creation: Generate comprehensive reports, two-dimensional maps, and three-dimensional renderings, providing valuable information on property features and boundaries.
- Legal Compliance: Adhere to accepted legal procedures to establish official land and water boundaries for government agencies, real estate developers, and private parties.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying or Civil Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience as a land surveyor.
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) or Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) License.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000
- Hours & Shift: Monday to Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
