Job Description
Selectek has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Electrical Engineer in Auburn, IN. In this role, you will work closely with Sales, Engineering & Project Management teams to assist with calculations, concepts and designs for air pollution control systems and equipment. This is a hybrid work from home position.
Responsibilities:
Pay and Wages: $60,000 - $75,000 annual salary depending on education and experience

Responsibilities:
- Support Sales and Engineering/Project management with the design and implementation of electrical power and control systems
- Troubleshoot and maintenance of controls systems.
- Assist in system start-up and troubleshooting along with commission and debug systems during start-up
- Work within quote documentation and budget to schedule, design, and manage the electrical aspects of the project
- Designing and implementing power and control systems for pollution control and ancillary equipment relating to manufacturing in industrial environments
- Interface with contractors and customers
- Develop electrical installation drawings, conduit routings and wire schedules
- Assist in developing PLC programs and HMI applications for system operation - Allen Bradley, Modicon, etc.
- Support and develop functional descriptions and operating manuals
- Occasional travel to job sites
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
- Familiarity with NEC & Electrical Standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- AutoCAD Electrical
- Pneumatic/mechanical experience
- Estimating experience
