Selectek is partnering with a top-tier drafting and BIM coordination firm to find a Junior Plumbing Drafter for a 6-month temp-to-direct opportunity. This firm specializes in 3D modeling for commercial, industrial, and institutional construction projects nationwide. Their team supports mechanical, electrical, plumbing, architectural, and structural systems with a focus on BIM coordination and prefabrication.

Position Summary:
The selected candidate will support plumbing system drafting efforts using Revit. This is an onsite role based in Schwenksville, PA with no travel required. Entry-level candidates with basic Revit experience and a desire to grow in this field are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft plumbing systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings

  • Use Revit to create accurate construction drawings

  • Work from contract drawings, submittals, and specifications

  • Support BIM coordination and prefabrication drawing efforts

  • Meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of 3D modeling experience

  • 1+ years of Revit experience (Revit required – AutoCAD alone is not sufficient)

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents

  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently

Preferred Background:

  • Entry-level drafters with a strong interest in plumbing design

  • Background with A&E firms, MEP consultants, or specialty contractors is a plus

Position Details:

  • Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Direct (6 months)

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM (occasional overtime)

  • Location: Onsite in Schwenksville, PA 19473 (local candidates only)

  • Pay Rate: $22/hr – $30/hr (flexible for strong candidates)

  • Direct Hire Conversion: Salary-based

  • Sponsorship: Not available

  • Interviews: Tentatively scheduled for next Thursday or Friday between 9:00AM – 12:00PM
