Job Description

A Jr. Mechanical Engineer to work as part of an interdisciplinary design team, carrying out the mechanical design of custom LCD display products for the digital signage industry.  

Required:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master's Degree is a plus.
  • Good work ethic.
  • 0-2 years of design experience.
  • Experience with sheetmetal and extrusion fabrication processes is a plus. 
  • Experience with PTC Creo and Windchill is a plus, but 3D CAD experience of some type is required.
  • Experience with PTC Simulate (Mechanica), Flo-EFD, Femap are all a plus.  
Job Responsibilities:
  • Areas of focus for the Mechanical Engineer are concept creation, mechanical design and documentation using PTC Creo & Windchill, electronic packaging, thermal design and analysis of cooling solutions, structural analysis, design for manufacturability and serviceability, BOM creation, manufacturing support & sustaining engineering.
  • The Mechanical Engineer works in close collaboration with other engineers (electrical, optical, systems, software, industrial), program managers, manufacturing associates and executive staff to deliver cutting-edge products according to accelerated schedules.
  • The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, taking full advantage of a wide array of fabrication and manufacturing capabilities existing under one roof.
Salary Range:  $55k/yr. - $75k/yr.
