Job Description
We are searching for a Jr Electrical Engineer with a background in Power and Lighting in Bessemer, AL.

Requirements:
- Perform Electrical system and equipment design for a wide range of projects.
- Work with Engineers, project managers, and construction professionals to create and/or modify design Parameters.
- Analyze Electrical systems and equipment when necessary to create solutions to optimize performance and safety and increase the efficiency of operation. Specific forms of analysis include overcurrent protective device selective coordination, arc flash hazard, illumination, and energy performance.
- Evaluate design drawings & specifications according to required quality regulations.
- Familiarity with design standards and regulations for electrical systems, e.g. National Electrical Code, Healthcare Facilities Code (NFPA 99), etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical
- 2 plus years’ Experience with the design of healthcare facilities
- Experience with Revit, AutoCAD
- Demonstrated capability with electrical system analysis software e.g. EasyPower, ETAP, or SKM, Dapper/Captor.
Salary Range:
- $60K/yr.-$75/yr.
- Monday- Friday
- 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM
