Selectek is searching for a skilled Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to join a reputable Civil Engineering and Surveying firm in West Alabama. This position focuses on conducting land surveys and producing topographic maps for residential, commercial, institutional, and utility development projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform ALTA, Boundary, Topographic, and Utility Surveys.
  • Create and deliver accurate topographic maps and land survey documentation.
  • Operate and utilize advanced surveying equipment, including GPS and Total Station software.
  • Develop cost estimates for survey projects.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure successful completion.
  • Mentor junior surveyors and provide technical guidance.

Requirements:
  • Must hold a valid Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) License in Alabama.
  • Proficiency with survey equipment, Total Stations, GPS software, and AutoCAD.
  • Strong independent work capabilities and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with a variety of project types, including residential, commercial, and utility developments.
  • Effective leadership and mentoring abilities.
