Selectek is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls Project Manager for a partnering client located in Pittsburgh, PA. This role involves DCS migration from Foxboro to Emerson Delta V as well as an SIS migration with HMA.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Salary: $45 - $67 per hour, based on experience and license status
Responsibilities:
•   Coordinate with client Subject Matter Experts, Operations and Maintenance, Procurement and Projects personnel, 3rd party engineering design teams, equipment vendors, etc.Â
•   Develop project and construction execution plans, project funding requests, schedules, etc.Â
•   Drive the project team’s work to ensure that they meet deadlines and milestones.Â
•   Hold regular progress meetings, safety meetings and design reviews.Â
•   Track, prepare and update progress report, risk log, schedules, budget expenditures and change logs.Â
•   Ensure all action items related to safety review are implemented and verified complete.Â
•   Review and approve project documents for compliance with industry and company standards and project requirements and specifications.Â
•   Assemble gate review packages to facilitate project continuance decisions.Â
•   Coordinate with Procurement Manager for tendering activities, purchase requisitioning and supplier management.Â
•   Facilitate contractor safety compliance while on-site.Â
•   Ensure all project scope executes to safety standards and requirements. Review all job plans for high risk during construction in discipline related areas /scope. Â
•   Coordinate approval of commissioning file for each systems & equipment’s which includes method statements, single line diagram, site instructions, deviation list, various tests, equipment datasheet & specification, relay setting calculations, etc.Â
•   Arrange Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) witness and certification process for all equipment and systems with site Subject Matter Experts and Engineers of Record.Â
•   Coordinate with the Construction Manager(s), Engineers, Project Manager, and Contractors for Inspection of respective systems /subsystem’s and functional testing documentation.Â
•   Schedule and monitor Contractor site activity on critical equipment, complex system packages to agreed execution plans and schedules.Â
•   Manage Requests For Information submissions and resolutions.Â
•   Oversee contractor installation QA/QC, Testing and Commissioning Activities.Â
•   Document and retain appropriate approvals for all deviations and non-conformances.Â
•   Work with Engineer of Record to ensure construction complies with Issued for Construction designs.Â
•   Identify and track all punch list items for mechanical completion.Â
•   Coordinate and lead project closeout activities.Â
•   Complete Management of Change documentation in support of Process Safety Management and OSHA regulations including close out of as-build documentation.Â
Requirements:
•   Bachelor’s degree in engineering with an Electrical Engineering degree preferredÂ
•   Strong working knowledge of all aspects of I&C DCS and SIS systems and their construction in an operational chemical or specialty chemical manufacturing facility.Â
•   7 pls years’ experience in I&C  systems for heavy industrial plants (chemical, power etc)Â
•   Experience acting as the I&C discipline lead for projectsÂ
