Originally from Southern California, Lia moved to the Atlanta area in 2005, attending the University of West Georgia and Georgia State University. Lia graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. Shortly after graduation, she accepted an unexpected career opportunity in sales and financial services. Several years into her career, she began a team lead and team recruiting role, which sparked her passion for the recruiting industry. Lia has been recruiting a wide variety of professionals in various fields since 2017, choosing to focus on professionals in technical and engineering fields with Selectek since 2022.
Lia is a foodie and outdoor enthusiast who enjoys cooking and trying new restaurants, spending time outdoors in nature, watching animal documentaries, and being a mom of three amazing kiddos.
