Job Title: Installation Service Technician
Location: Milwaukee, WI
Salary Range: $50,000 – $62,000 per year (based on experience)

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Installation Service Technician to support the build, debug, and installation of advanced automated equipment. You will work closely with lead personnel to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of projects from the shop floor through installation at customer facilities. This role combines technical problem-solving, hands-on mechanical/electrical work, and travel for field service support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in project kickoff meetings and document key details to ensure project success.
  • Assist in managing testing, run-off documentation, and adherence to customer specifications.
  • Support equipment build/debug, including mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Travel to customer sites to install, re-assemble, power on, and start up automated systems.
  • Debug and validate equipment to meet customer specifications and contractual requirements.
  • Provide clear project updates in weekly meetings and daily communications with project managers.
  • Review material shortages and align component delivery with project schedules.
  • Ensure assembly teams follow best practices, safety guidelines, and customer requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2–4 year degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent technical experience).
  • 2–4 years of experience with robotics, PLC integration, or automated equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in both electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Robotic offline simulation experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of leading small teams when needed.
