Inside Sales Engineer

Our client is looking to add an Inside Sales Engineer is to assist the Sales Engineers or Sales Manager to design or specify energy systems utilizing standard and custom products for an industrial engineering firm specializing in the development of heat exchange solutions. The role will also develop programs for sizing & pricing equipment or any other tools related to process equipment design or performance.
The role will require all candidates have ability to both technically and commercially design and sell products and systems. Must be proficient with computers and modern mobile communication methods as well as Excel.
Duties & Responsibilities
-Responsible for assisting Sales Engineers in accurate budgeting and sizing of all equipment within the scope of a given opportunity.
-Responsible for providing accurate sizing and/or pricing proposal in a timely manner in support of the Sales Engineers such that they present the proposal to the customer by the specified date.
-Responsible for backup communication and coordination of sales opportunities in the event of the primary Sales Engineer being unavailable or during peak times as an outlet for overflow.
-Maintaining current and accurate records with respect to sales opportunities in client’ s CRM system, as well as entering new opportunities into the CRM system if they are unassigned.
-Attend trade shows and proactive business development activities if/when required.
-BSME or BSMET or Chemical Engineering Degree
-0-3 Years of Mechanical Engineering Experience
-Strong Communication skills both written & verbal
