Job Details:
This inspector can anticipate to perform 40 hour work weeks with sporadic pre-approved overtime. This inspector can anticipate the work environment to be an approximate 60/40 split between the office and the field respectively, the field work is primarily performed at chemical and/or mining facilities. This inspector will perform field inspections that exhibit knowledge and ability to observe and rate the as-found conditions, photograph and log discrepancies of concrete and structural steel such as columns, beams, anchor bolts, purlins, lateral bracing, bolted connections etc.
This inspector will perform office proficiencies, possessing the ability to develop, prepare and write the follow-up reports that exhibit to the client the company's standard of professionalism. With each report, the inspector will need to ensure compliance with industry and customer specifications, policies, procedures (including site-specific safety protocols) and security requirements.
If Design work is also needed and you are qualified, you will:
Engage heavily with our Project Managers and interface with and/or assist other designers with a positive attitude. At times, you will represent the companywith customers and hash out design details as you virtually walk them through 3D models and point clouds. There will be cases where 3D scanning and/or field measurements are required and you will interact with plant personnel or even customer management so you understand the process and the project goals appropriately. With each design, you will need to ensure compliance with industry and customer specifications, policies, procedures (including site-specific safety protocols) and security requirements.

Qualifications:Â The following are required skills for our Industrial Inspector:
- A heavy industrial background (preferably chemical).
- Ability to read and interpret structural and mechanical drawings.
- Ability to use standard office equipment and computer.Â
- Ability to develop, prepare and write reports.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Must have good vision
- Ability to pass drug screen.
- Strong, effective, clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail-oriented approach to work with good organizational skills.
- Positive attitude, enthusiastic, can-do-attitude and strong team work ethic.
- Self-starter with the ability to work safely on a variety of diverse tasks; independently and as a part of a team.
- Desire to learn and develop new skills
