Job Description

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced I&C Project Manager to lead a DCS migration project, transitioning from Foxboro to Emerson Delta V, followed by an SIS migration with HMA. This role will be responsible for project management, coordination with various stakeholders, and the execution of detailed engineering design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and project handover to Operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DCS/SIS systems for industrial plants, with specific experience in overseeing migration projects. Key Responsibilities:
  • - Lead FEL and detailed design projects.
  • - Manage the planning, procurement, installation, and commissioning of DCS and SIS systems.
  • - Coordinate with client SMEs, Operations, Maintenance, and 3rd party engineering teams.
  • - Develop and execute project schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans.
  • - Hold regular project progress meetings and safety reviews.
  • - Oversee QA/QC processes, site inspections, and equipment testing.
  • - Facilitate Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • - Manage contractor schedules, installation activities, and safety compliance on-site.
  • - Prepare and review project documentation for gate reviews and regulatory compliance.
  • - Track project progress, report on milestones, and update risk logs and change management.
  • - Oversee project closeout activities, including punch list items and as-built documentation.
Requirements:
  • - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering.
  • - 7+ years of experience with I&C systems for heavy industrial plants (chemical, power, etc.).
  • - Strong understanding of DCS (Distributed Control Systems) and SIS (Safety Instrumented Systems).
  • - Proven experience with DCS migration, specifically Foxboro to Emerson Delta V.
  • - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • - Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams.
  • - Experience in working within operational chemical or specialty chemical manufacturing environments.
Preferred Experience:
  • - Previous experience with Emerson controls and overseeing DCS migrations.
  • - Background in chemical, power, or heavy industrial plants.
  • - Experience in managing both junior and senior project engineers.
Pay Range: 
  • $45.00/hr. $67.00/hr. 
Shift and Hours: 
  • Monday- Friday
  • 8 AM- 5 PM
Ideal Candidate: A motivated I&C professional with 7-20 years of experience in project management and migration work, particularly in DCS and SIS systems. The role is ideal for candidates with strong technical skills in control systems, leadership experience, and a hands-on approach to ensuring safety and compliance.
