We are in search of an HR Generalist/Manager in Spartanburg, SC.  
 
Position Description
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for recruitment and selection, onboarding, compensation, benefits, training and staff development, regulatory compliance, employee relations, and safety and health, along with other related HR functions.

Essential Position Responsibilities

  • Develop and administer human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.

  • Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.

  • Implement and annually update the compensation program; rewrite job descriptions as needed; conduct annual salary surveys. Work with management to analyze compensation, performance, and recommend revisions.

  • Develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and procedures. Maintain the employee handbook; oversee benefits administration including claims resolution, change reporting, invoice approvals, and annual policy evaluations for cost effectiveness.

  • Maintain files for EEO-1 reporting and ensure compliance with all EEO-related recordkeeping and regulations.

  • Lead recruitment efforts for all classifications of personnel, including students and temporary employees. Conduct new-employee orientations, employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviews. Draft and place recruitment advertisements.

  • Establish and maintain department records and reports. Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend seminars as needed. Maintain company organization charts and the employee directory.

  • Evaluate departmental reports, decisions, and results in relation to established goals. Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to improve department efficiency and service quality.

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Maintain active relationships with other HR professionals in the community.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Five or more years of increasingly responsible experience within Human Resources.

  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.

Beneficial Skills and Experience

  • Experience with computerized HR and benefits administration systems.

  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification.
