Job Description

A growing engineering firm near Daphne, AL is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer for a contract-to-direct opportunity. This role involves working on infrastructure, land development, and transportation projects, assisting in road, drainage, and site development design under senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in civil engineering design, analysis, and site inspections.
  • Prepare drawings, reports, and calculations under senior engineers.
  • Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydrologic/hydraulic software (Pond Pack, Storm CADD, ICPR4).
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications:
  • BS in Civil Engineering.
  • EIT certification (preferred).
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and stormwater modeling software.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills.
Job Details:
  • Location: Fairhope, AL (on-site).
  • Pay Rate: $30-$40/hr (Contract-to-Direct) | $62,400-$83,200 (Direct Hire).
  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.
  • Overtime: Expected, paid at 1.5x rate.
  • Background Check & Drug Screen Required.
  • CAD test required for qualification.
