Our client has an immediate need for a licensed Geologist or Geotechnical Engineer for an on-site project in Portsmouth, Ohio. This role will work evening shift (4pm-midnight) to support the project. This role will work on-site as a “Seepage Barrier Logger” They will describe and classify material excavated from the seepage barrier construction and record the information on the As-Built Profile. The description and classification of the excavated material shall be performed by a licensed geologist or geotechnical engineer using ASTM D2488 and ASTM D5434 standards

Location: Portsmouth, OH
Pay range: $38 - $48 depending on experience + per diem for out-of-town candidates

Job Description

Required:
- 5 Plus years of experience as a Geologist or Geotechnical Engineer
- Strong understanding of ASTM D2488 and ASTM D5434 standards
- Able to show experience logging soils in borings at least. Construction preferred.
- Licensed PE or Licensed Geologist in any state
Location: Portsmouth, OH
Pay range: $38 - $48 depending on experience + per diem for out-of-town candidates
