Job Description

Selectek is looking for a GIS Technician to join our team in Canton, GA. As a GIS Technician, you will play a pivotal role in the management of field data for telecom projects. Your primary responsibilities will include collecting data from new customers, customizing and running reports, and creating maps to support project objectives. You will work closely with ArcGIS and ArcMap to solve spatial problems, ensure data quality, and contribute to the development of efficient workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize ArcGIS and ArcMap to efficiently solve complex spatial problems.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop innovative and streamlined workflows.
  • Support GIS projects and effectively communicate project progression to team members.
  • Perform data analysis to ensure data quality through quality assurance and quality control practices.
  • Maintain the integrity and accuracy of data to uphold the highest standards.
  • Publish map, feature, and geodata services to facilitate project requirements.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience with ArcGIS.
  • Proficiency with ArcMap.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a GIS Analyst or in a similar role.
Pay Range:
  • $20 - $22
Shift and Hours:
  • Workdays: Monday to Friday
  • Working hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
