We have a long-term opportunity for a GIS Technician in Birmingham, AL with a power supply company.
Type: Contract
Duration: 3 years
Pay Rate: $22 - $24/hour
This role will be responsible for the input, processing and maintenance of Transmission/Substation/Distribution lines and equipment into an ESRI GIS Database.
Required Qualifications:
Hours and Shift: Flexible. M-TH or M-F, 8 or 10 hours a day. Start as early as 7 AM, end as late as 5:30 PM
Work from Home: Possible after training period
Work Attire: Business Casual

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2 Years of GIS Experience OR B.S. Degree in Geography GIS or similar field
- Experience with ESRI Arc GIS Software
- Arc GIS Pro Experience
- CAD Experience
