Job Description

Are you looking to break into the GIS field? Selectek is seeking entry-level candidates for a GIS Technician with an engineering firm that primarily supports utility companies in Ball Ground, Georgia.

Title: GIS Technician
Location: Ball Ground, GA
Expected Pay Range: $20-22 per hour

Job Requirements:
•    Prior experience with ArcGIS 
•    Prior experience with ArcMap 
•    1-3 years’ experience as a GIS Analyst or similar role 

Job Duties:
•    Solve complex spatial problems quickly and efficiently using ArcGIS and ArcMap 
•    Assist in developing innovative and efficient workflows. 
•    Support GIS projects and communicate project progression effectively to team members. 
•    Perform data analysis to ensure data quality (quality assurance and quality control). 
•    Enforce the integrity and accuracy of the data. 
•    Publish map, feature, and geodata services.
