Job Description

Position Overview
We are seeking a GIS Technician to support telecom projects by managing and analyzing data collected from the field. This role involves customizing and running reports, building maps, and ensuring data quality. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in GIS software and spatial problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
  • Solve complex spatial problems efficiently using ArcGIS and ArcMap.
  • Develop and improve workflows for GIS processes.
  • Support GIS projects and provide progress updates to team members.
  • Perform data quality assurance and quality control to maintain data integrity.
  • Publish maps, features, and geodata services.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience as a GIS Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in ArcGIS and ArcMap.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Additional Information
  • Work Environment: Onsite, business casual attire.
  • Overtime: Minimal, billed at 1.5x the rate.
  • Travel: None required.
  • Background Check: 7-year background check and 10-panel drug screen required.
Location: Ball Ground, GA (30107)
Schedule: Flexible start, Monday-Friday (5x8s) or 4x10s for non-local candidates
Term: 6-month temp-to-direct (TTD) assignment
Pay Rate: $20-$22/hour (based on experience)
