Job Title: Entry Level GIS Specialist
Location: Hammonton, NJ
Type: Contract-to-Hire
We are partnering with a well-established multi-disciplinary Civil Engineering firm in Hammonton, NJ, seeking an entry-level GIS Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to support a variety of projects, including local government initiatives, environmental permitting, engineering services, site assessments, inspections, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize GIS techniques and software to help project teams interpret, visualize, and report on geospatial data and feature relationships.
  • Assist in completing project tasks such as data development, analysis, collection, and map production under general supervision.
  • Perform data management, including data entry, tabular data management, and spreadsheet calculations.
  • Plan and execute GIS work both independently and as part of a project team.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Geosciences, Computer Science, or a related field with demonstrated GIS coursework.
  • 0-3 years of experience in GIS, specifically in geospatial data development, mapping, visualization, analysis, and reporting.
  • Proficiency with the Esri Suite (ArcGIS, ArcMap, etc.).
