We’re seeking an experienced Field Superintendent to lead mission-critical data center retrofit projects in the Dulles, VA area. This role oversees all field construction activities—MEP systems, subcontractor performance, scheduling, safety, and quality—while serving as the primary onsite contact for project progress and client communication.
Work directly on fast-moving $1M–$20M data center projects, ensuring precise execution of electrical, mechanical, and process equipment installations. This position is ideal for a field leader who thrives in high-security, highly technical environments.
What You’ll Do:
• Supervise all onsite electrical & mechanical construction activities
• Manage subcontractors, schedules, quality, and adherence to budget
• Oversee MEP systems installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Track equipment delivery, coordinate field operations, and lead weekly progress/safety meetings
• Partner with project managers on planning, cost control, and change approvals
• Ensure strict safety, compliance, site security, and project closeout
What You Bring:
• 5–10 years of field supervision experience
• Background managing data center construction or mission-critical projects
• Strong client-facing and communication skills
• Solid understanding of MEP construction and startup processes
• Ability to travel 75%+ as part of a field-driven role
• U.S. Citizenship required (background + drug screen)
