Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a skilled Field Service Technician to support new and existing industrial machinery projects. This role involves startup and commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, and optimizing equipment for municipal, wastewater, and textile industries.

Compensation:
  • Pay Rate: $30–$35/hr (DOE)
  • Term: Direct Hire
  • Location: Spartanburg, SC
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate travel and complete onsite startup, calibration, and commissioning.
  • Train end users on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Perform troubleshooting, servicing, and retrofitting of machinery and controls.
  • Handle electrical and instrumentation repairs.
  • Complete documentation and reports using Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
  • Provide customer support and assist manufacturing when not in the field.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma (minimum).
  • 5+ years of industrial machinery service experience.
  • Strong skills in interpreting technical specifications, mechanical, and electrical drawings.
  • Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE).
  • Ability to travel 75–80%, including domestic and occasional international trips.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong communication skills.
Preferred:
  • Experience with municipal or industrial wastewater treatment equipment or textile machinery.

Travel Perks:
Domestic and international travel, including potential assignments in Canada, Mexico, and resort areas like the Bahamas. All travel expenses are covered, with weekly reimbursements.
