Locations: Commercial Wholesale bakery manufacturing facilities across the US and Canada.
Key Details:
  • Term: Direct Hire
  • Travel: 80% (US and Canada)
  • Compensation: ~ +/- $38-$40/hour + OT, paid travel, hotels, $75-$100/day per diem, standby pay
  • Earnings: Potential to make well over $100K/year
Job Overview: We are seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site service and installation support for Co. Bakery equipment. This role is key in building and maintaining customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise mechanical and electrical installation of equipment
  • Service and maintain existing equipment
  • Review and manage customer spare parts needs
  • Provide technical support to optimize equipment performance
  • Identify new equipment opportunities for sales team
  • Troubleshoot customer issues via phone
  • Prepare detailed technical and activity reports
Requirements:
  • 3+ years field service experience in food/beverage/bakery or packaging industry
  • 5+ years electrical and mechanical experience in high-speed, automated processes
  • Proficiency in Variable Speed Drives, Sensors, Conveyors, PLC’s, OIT’s
  • Experience with Rockwell Product line SLC-500, Panel View Logix 5000, Panel View Plus
  • Programming skills and troubleshooting abilities in power transmission, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical circuits
  • Basic machine shop and fabricating skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with high-speed, automated equipment
  • Background in food & beverage industry
