Fabrication Project Manager – Alpharetta, GA

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Project Manager to oversee all inventory and manufacturing activities at a leading provider of industrial equipment solutions. This role is pivotal in ensuring production goals are met on time, within budget, and to quality standards. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with inventory and resource management, while also coordinating engineering deliverables and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management:

  • Maintain proper levels of U.S. stock components

  • Set and adjust stock levels and economic order quantities

  • Coordinate container shipments and logistics with manufacturing partners

  • Order components through ERP systems

  • Conduct physical inventory counts

  • Perform site visits for inventory intake and quality review

Manufacturing Oversight:

  • Monitor manufacturing schedules and ensure project deadlines are met

  • Open and modify manufacturing drawings from engineer-generated 3D models

  • Collaborate with Project Managers to prepare BOMs and packing lists

  • Uphold manufacturing standards and regulatory compliance

  • Track costs and ensure adherence to project budgets

  • Conduct site visits to inspect and test equipment

  • Lead regular manufacturing coordination meetings

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience managing manufacturing and inventory operations

  • Proficiency in CAD (Inventor preferred; other platforms acceptable)

  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

  • Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and communication skills

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder

Additional Information:

  • Location: Alpharetta, GA (Onsite only)

  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Assignment: 6-month temp-to-perm

  • Pay Rate: $36.00–$41.00/hr (Target salary <$85K for direct hire, flexibility for the right candidate)

  • Business casual dress

  • No travel required

  • Background check and 5-panel drug screen required
