Job Description


Selectek is searching for a piping estimator with a background with Bluebeam software.

This is a 6-month contract to direct opportunity in Birmingham AL.

Required:
  • Provide detailed take-offs from Engineer drawings as well as conceptual estimates.
  • Work with other estimators to develop detailed piping take-off.
  • Provide support to customers, sales reps, and inside sales team.

Preferred:
  • 0-2 years. Experience with ductile iron pipe and fittings a plus.
  • Stable progressive estimating experience in the mechanical discipline a plus.
  • Knowledge or experience with Bluebeam Software
  • Focus will be in providing clear and accurate ductile iron pipe take-offs.
  • Ability to read and interpret project specifications.
  • Knowledge of ASME/AWWA codes.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
