Job Description


We are seeking an Estimator to join our preconstruction/estimating team. In this role, you will be responsible for independently preparing estimates for various stages of project development, including schematic, design development, and construction documents. Your duties will include evaluating subcontractor bids, preparing quantity surveys, and reviewing project plans and specifications across all Construction Specific Institute (CSI) categories.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed estimates for schematic, design development, and construction documents.
  • Evaluate subcontractor bids and scopes of work.
  • Conduct quantity surveys and review project plans and specifications for all CSI categories.
Qualifications:
  • B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of preconstruction and/or operations experience on commercial projects, or 5 years of progressive equivalent work experience in a related field
  • Strong knowledge of civil/site construction, foundation and structural systems, and structural wall systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suites; familiarity with On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, bid management, online plan rooms, and database applications is preferred.
