Job Description

Client in north Atlanta, GA is looking to hire an experienced engineering project manager.

Summary:
We currently have an opening for an Engineering Project Manager to manage key client projects and accomplish project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities. You will be involved in the entire project development and delivery process.

Job Duties:
• Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
• Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them.
• Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project.
• Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple disciplines are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
• Communicating with executives and clients to keep the project aligned with their goals.
• Performing quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
• Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project

Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Structural are all ideal
  • 3 plus years’ experience as a project manager for engineering work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office and Microsoft Project or ERP software
Preferred
  • PE
  • PMP Certification
  • Master’s Degree

Pay:  $37-$43/hr.
Location:  Alpharetta, GA
Duration:  Temp to hire
