Job Description

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing mechanical engineering and design team focused on heavy industrial and rotating equipment projects.

Position Highlights:
  • Pay: $110K–$120K base + 2% quarterly bonus
  • Location: Louisville, KY (onsite – no remote)
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday | Flexible start time (e.g., 7–4, 8–5, 9–6)
  • Travel: 20–30% to client sites and between KY and UT offices
  • Direct Reports: 8–10 engineers and designers
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team focused on design, analysis, and improvement of rotary equipment
  • Oversee projects from concept to completion, ensuring quality and industry compliance
  • Provide technical leadership on FEA, component design, and equipment failure analysis
  • Collaborate with field service, fabrication, and sales teams to drive project success
  • Support recruitment, training, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years of engineering leadership experience
  • Proficient in SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, and FEA analysis tools
  • Background in heavy industrial and rotating equipment preferred
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
