Job Description

Selectek is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team of mechanical engineers and designers focused on the design, analysis, and improvement of heavy industrial rotary equipment. This is a high-impact leadership role with responsibility for multi-site coordination, project execution, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of mechanical engineers and designers.
  • Oversee engineering projects from concept through completion with focus on quality, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Drive collaboration between engineering, field service, fabrication, and sales departments.
  • Provide technical expertise in equipment failure analysis, component design, and system optimization.
  • Implement best practices in design, documentation, and project management.
  • Support continuous improvement across engineering and operations.
  • Manage coordination between Louisville and Salt Lake City offices, including regular site travel.
  • Travel to customer sites (20–30%) for project support and client engagement.
Required Qualifications:
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in engineering teams.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, and FEA analysis software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Background in heavy industrial environments.
  • Experience with rotary equipment and component design.
Pay Rate: $110,000 - $120,000 + Quarterly Bonus
Term: Direct Hire
