I have a client located near Fort Wayne, IN that has a need for an Engineering Manager.
As the Project Engineer/Engineering Manager you will perform product design, development, build, support product release and assist in project management. Design work will be completed in SolidWorks and involve creating concepts, working models, 2-D & 3-D drawings. You will also perform required analysis to ensure designs meet engineering principles.
Typical projects will involve design and steel fabrication for industrial-size Metal Recycling, Material Handling, Conveyors & Asphalt equipment.
Required:
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 4 plus years of design and developing steel fabricated and machined products
• SolidWorks and/or Inventor design experience.
• Structural and plate steel knowledge
• 4+ Years in a Project Engineer role, having direct responsibility for product design & development throughout product lifecycle.
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and internal stakeholders.
Pay:
$30-50/hr. (Depending on experience)
