Engineering Manager

Job Description

Selectek is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Engineering Manager to join our growing team. This individual will play a vital role in driving the success of our organization by leading engineering initiatives, managing teams and projects, and delivering innovative and timely solutions. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the engineering department and serve as the primary technical expert
  • Resolve technical challenges and provide guidance to engineering team members
  • Develop and implement engineering plans, procedures, and best practices
  • Establish and oversee budgets, schedules, and resource plans for engineering projects
  • Review and verify the accuracy of engineering designs, drawings, and methodologies
  • Conduct quality assurance checks and oversee testing of completed work
  • Assess staffing requirements and lead recruiting, training, and team development
  • Manage and mentor a growing team of engineers
  • Champion R&D efforts to improve internal processes and product performance
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments, clients, suppliers, and contractors
  • Represent the engineering team in internal and client-facing meetings and presentations
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Structural strongly preferred)
  • 5+ years of engineering management experience in industrial fabricated equipment
  • Proficiency with Autodesk software (AutoCAD, Inventor, etc.)
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities
  • Solid background in project management, with the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing engineering teams during periods of rapid organizational growth
  • Strong understanding of industrial fabrication processes and manufacturing environments
  • PMP Certification or equivalent project management training is a plus

Pay Rate: $120,000 - $140,000
