Salary: ~ $100K – $120K
Overview:
Seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join the team in Sarasota, FL. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil engineering, specializing in private and public site design, as well as municipal capital improvement projects. This role will oversee a variety of projects including residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal developments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal capital improvement projects
  • Coordinate with project engineers and oversee CAD Designers
  • Prepare and submit proposals to county and local permitting agencies
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Collaborate closely with the president of Morris Engineering
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license [or EI / EIT] and valid driver’s license
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and ability to read and open CAD files
  • 5 years of experience in civil engineering project management
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal permitting agencies
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with ICPR (storm water software), Modret, WaterCAD, and AutoCAD is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
