Job Description

Our client is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who will play a critical role in optimizing and enhancing manufacturing processes. This position focuses on designing, implementing, and refining production systems to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness while ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ISO AS9100. The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and supply chain to drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Production System and Value Stream Mapping.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes and workflows to improve efficiency and product quality.
  • Implement and maintain CNC machining operations, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.
  • Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to support accurate manufacturing and inspection.
  • Manage and maintain machine tools and equipment to ensure operational readiness and compliance with ISO AS9100 standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop documentation and training materials to support manufacturing with the best practices and standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor manufacturing operations metrics and report on performance, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process enhancement
Skills:
· CNC machining processes (milling, turning, multi-axis machining)
· Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
· CNC process development and optimization
· Cycle time analysis and throughput improvement
· Tooling and fixture design concepts
· CNC programming support (Mastercam or similar CAM systems)







Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing engineering within a production environment.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with CNC machining and machine tools.
  • Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards.
  • Familiarity with ISO AS9100 quality management standards and compliance requirements.
Preferred:
  • Certification or training in Value Stream Mapping and continuous improvement methodologies a plus
  • Strong skills in manufacturing operations management and process automation.
  • Experience working in regulated industries or environments requiring strict quality controls.
  • Proficiency with manufacturing software tools and data analysis platforms.
