Job Description

Our client needs to bring on board an experienced mechanical Solidworks operator to work as a mechanical designer.  This role will produce fabrication drawings in solidworks to be used in their manufacturing facility. There will be some rendering work required as well.

Candidates that have worked with sheet metal are ideal and those accustomed to producing fabrication drawings for production. Experience with Rendering Software is a plus but is not required as is a background working with Excel and helping with the pricing/quoting process.

Required
  • Proficiency with Solidworks (5 plus recent years)
  • Experience as a mechanical drafter or designer creating shop/fabrication drawings
