Job Description

Selectek is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for land development, infrastructure design, and preparation of construction documents for:
  • Roads and parking areas
  • Storm drainage systems and stormwater management facilities
  • Utilities including water mains and sanitary sewers
  • Sediment and erosion control plans
  • Outline specifications
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 1 year of experience (engineers of all levels will be considered)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Civil 3D experience (waived with PE status)
  • Experience designing single-family subdivisions, apartments, and commercial development
Responsibilities:
  • Support and participate in business development efforts and professional organizations.
  • Assist with the preparation of client contracts and ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Analyze technical data (maps, reports, blueprints, aerial photographs, soil and hydrology reports) to inform design.
  • Develop schematic designs and transform concepts into detailed construction documents.
  • Coordinate work with other design professionals and reviewing agencies.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and scopes of work while overseeing staff assignments.
  • Produce and review design drawings, specifications, and calculations.
  • Direct drafters/technicians and review final construction documents for accuracy and quality.
  • Maintain client relationships throughout project lifecycle, including post-completion follow-up.
  • Provide guidance and daily support to project team members, mentor junior staff.
  • Conduct value engineering, attend construction meetings, and prepare site observation reports.
  • Prepare, review, and track invoices; assist with collections as needed.
Pay: $95,000 - $100,000
Term: 6-months temp to perm (Direct Hire for the right candidate)
