Job Description: Network Device Provisioning Technician

We have a 6-month Contract-to-Hire opportunity for a Network Device Provisioning Technician with an ISP in Ball Ground, GA to follow established procedures to provision and configure MikroTik and Ubiquiti devices in alignment with project requirements.

Required Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with MikroTik and RouterOS in an enterprise environment.
- Proven track record in a Network Device Provisioning Technician role or similar capacity.
- Proficiency in programming and configuring MikroTik routers and switches.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, ISIS, OSPF, and BGP.
- Exceptional troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve network issues promptly and effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, essential for working within a dynamic team environment.
- Preferred (but not required) certifications: MikroTik Certified Network Associate (MTCNA), MikroTik Certified Routing Engineer (MTCRE), Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).

Responsibilities:
- Methodically follow established procedures to provision and configure MikroTik and Ubiquiti devices in alignment with project requirements.
- Precisely program MikroTik routers and switches, along with Ubiquiti products, to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Collaborate closely with the project manager to understand network architecture and customer requirements.
- Diligently troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to MikroTik and Ubiquiti device configurations.
- Maintain thorough documentation of configurations and network topology to facilitate efficient troubleshooting and future maintenance.
