Job Description


Our client is currently seeking a Plumbing Designer.

Summary:
The Plumbing Designer will provide engineering and design support for various commercial, municipal, and institutional projects.

Job Duties:
  • Design of service water piping, sewage disposal systems, specialty piping, fire safety systems
  • Verifying that designs meet local and national building codes
  • Conduct predesign site visits to survey existing conditions, prepare preliminary drawings, and obtain necessary approvals
  • Develop contract documents (calculations, design drawings, schematics, and details) for construction and will review submittals to verify conformance with those documents
  • Conduct site observations to verify conformance with contract documents and building codes.
Requirements:
  • B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred 
  • 2-4 years of commercial plumbing design experience (municipal and institutional project experience is a plus)
  • Autodesk Revit proficient
  • EIT preferred
  • Excellent communication skills

Pay Range:
  • $60 – 70K, depending on experience
