Job Description

A motivated Civil Engineer with 2–5 years of experience to join our collaborative design team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in civil site design, grading, stormwater management, and permitting processes, along with strong technical and communication skills.

Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • 2–5 years of experience in civil site design or related field.
  • EIT certification required; Georgia PE license (or ability to obtain within 12 months) preferred.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; experience with stormwater modeling software (Hydraflow, PondPack, or similar) a plus.
  • Strong understanding of grading, drainage, utilities, and local permitting processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Support project managers in the design and production of civil site development plans for commercial, residential, and municipal projects.
  • Prepare grading, drainage, utility, and erosion control plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for stormwater management design.
  • Coordinate with local municipalities and reviewing agencies to support permit applications and approvals.
  • Assist in preparing construction documents, cost estimates, and technical reports.
  • Participate in field visits and construction observation as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal team members and external consultants to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Salary Range: $65k - $100k+/yr. DOE
