Job Description

Selectek is partnering with a company located in Atlanta, GA to fill a Construction Materials Testing Technician role to work with a company focused on infrastructure projects.  

Employment Type: Contract-to-Direct
Expected Pay Range: $20 - $26 per hour, depending on certification and experience. 
Location: Atlanta, GA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, First shift hours

Required:
  • 2 plus years of experience Performing test, general construction inspections, and observations according to project requirements.
  • ACI Field Level 1 Certification (concrete testing)
  • Experience with nuclear density gauge
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform construction observations, material testing and construction inspections for soil, concrete, grout, mortar and asphalt
  • Utilize nuclear density gauge 
  • Clean, maintain and calibrate equipment according to codes and standards
  • Review civil and structural plans
  • Submit daily reports
